The purpose of CET-4 is to promote the implementation of college English syllabus, measure college students' English ability objectively and accurately, and serve to improve the teaching quality of college English courses in China. The Ministry of Education entrusts the National College English Test Committee for CET-4 and CET-6 to design, organize, manage and implement CET-4 and CET-6.
Examination process
8: 50-9: 00 audition time
9:00-9: 10, play the examination room instructions and distribute the composition papers.
9: 10 Take off your headphones and start the composition test.
9: 35-9: 40, put on headphones again, listen to the channel and prepare for the listening test.
The listening test starts at 9: 40, and the radio starts playing.
9: 40- 10: 05 listening test
1 0: 05-10:10 After the listening test (stop answering questions), get the answer sheet1(composition and listening).
10:10-11:25 Continue the exam and complete the rest.
1 1: 25 All exams are over.
CET-4 and CET-6 have attracted the attention of Chinese universities and relevant education leading departments, and stimulated the enthusiasm of teachers and students. A large number of statistical data and experimental materials of validity research prove that CET-4 and CET-6 have high reliability and validity and meet the quality requirements of large-scale standardized tests.
After weighted equivalence, the original scores of CET-4 and CET-6 are converted into normal scores with an average of 500 and a standard deviation of 70. At the same time, there is no passing line for CET-4 and CET-6, and the examination certificate is changed to a transcript.
