Nanchang Bayi Middle School is a public full-time complete middle school. The school was founded in 1937, which was reorganized from the former Nanchang No.11 Middle School and the former Nanchang Bayi School. By 2020, the school will cover an area of 43.42 mu. There are 62 classes with more than 2900 students. There are more than 270 teaching and administrative staff, including 80 teachers with senior and intermediate titles/kloc-0.

Nanchang Bayi Middle School is formed by the integration and reorganization of Nanchang Eleventh Middle School and Nanchang Bayi School. Nanchang No.11 Middle School was founded in 1937, formerly known as Tianhou Palace Primary School. 1957 was transformed into Shengli Middle School, 1966 was renamed Bayi Bridge Commune Middle School, and 1967 moved to Henghu, and merged with Henghu, which was called Henghu General Labor University in Xinjian County. 1970 was named Nanchang No.11 Middle School and became an ordinary middle school.
Nanchang Bayi School was founded on June 26th, 1949, 165438, formerly known as Jiangxi Military Region Cadre Children's School. It was originally a comprehensive school integrating primary school, junior high school, senior high school and military service. In order to expand high-quality educational resources and meet the growing educational needs of the people, Nanchang Education Bureau has integrated and reorganized the advantages of Nanchang No.11 Middle School and Nanchang Bayi School. On March 3, 2003, KLOC-0 was recognized as a key middle school in Jiangxi Province during the Tenth Five-Year Plan by Jiangxi Provincial Education Department.
