Campus construction is not up to standard
The renaming of Mudanjiang Teachers College was included in the five-year education development plan of Heilongjiang Province as early as the "Twelfth Five-Year Plan". Theoretically, a school can declare its name change to the Ministry of Education during the Twelfth Five-Year Plan period. According to official website information of Mudanjiang Teachers College, the existing building area of Mudanjiang Teachers College is only 326,000 square meters, which is far below the standard of renaming it as a "university" stipulated by the Ministry of Education. It can be seen that the school's infrastructure construction needs to be improved urgently, and the increase of campus building area is not an easy task. If the school wants to change its name to "Normal University" during the Tenth Five-Year Plan period, merging the campuses of other schools is the most direct and quickest means.
