Why is the "dual-certificate on-the-job graduate student" renamed as "part-time graduate student"
In order to improve their academic qualifications or "recharge" knowledge, many employees will choose to study while working. In the past, on-the-job employees only needed to take the national entrance examination held in June 5438+ 10 every year, but this examination was cancelled this year, and related work was included in the national unified entrance examination for graduate students. Recently, the Ministry of Education issued a relevant notice, clearly pointing out that starting from 20 17, the Ministry of Education and the National Development and Reform Commission will compile and issue national enrollment plans for doctoral and master students according to full-time and part-time categories respectively. The enrollment of full-time and part-time postgraduate examinations is based on the unified requirements of the state and implements the same policies and standards.
Define "full time" and "part time"
According to the requirements of the Ministry of Education, coordinate the development of full-time and part-time graduate education, and make it clear that full-time graduate students refer to full-time graduate students who study in schools within the basic study period or the years specified by schools; Part-time graduate students take part-time study in various ways and flexible time arrangements while engaging in other professional or social practices during the basic study period or the study period stipulated by the school (generally, the basic study period should be appropriately extended). In addition, graduate students admitted before 20 16 1 1.30 shall be subject to the original regulations; Postgraduates admitted after 20 16 12 1 are divided into full-time and part-time training methods.
Why did the dual-certificate on-the-job graduate students change their names to part-time graduate students?
Interpretation From next year, the former "on-the-job graduate student" will be renamed as "part-time graduate student". Because the original unified national entrance examination for graduate students not only allowed employees to apply for it, but also had full-time and part-time learning methods, it is necessary to clarify the full-time or part-time learning methods when enrolling students after the reform.
