People's Daily, People's Daily, Taiyuan Municipal Committee and Taiyuan Municipal People's Government jointly hosted the "20 18 University Presidents Forum" with the theme of "Return, Innovation and Education" on October 25th in Taiyuan, Shanxi Province. More than 60 college secretaries and presidents from all over the country held special discussions on topics such as "promoting first-class undergraduate education", "cultivating new people of the times", "colleges and universities serving local economy and society" and "building a team of teachers in the new era" to discuss the future development of higher education and build a "double-class" intelligence gathering force.

Combined with the authoritative data of the Ministry of Education, this paper evaluates the social influence of colleges and universities around multiple dimensions through big data mining. The report selects 165 subordinate key universities and local key universities, and makes a multi-dimensional evaluation through a three-level index system, reflecting the comprehensive influence of each university in news propaganda and public opinion evaluation.
