Beihai college of beihang university (hereinafter referred to as Beihai College) was established with the approval of the Ministry of Education in 2005. It is an ordinary undergraduate institution of higher learning jointly organized by Beihang University (hereinafter referred to as Beihang University) and social forces in accordance with the independent college model and mechanism.

Beihang University is the first batch of national key universities and key construction institutions of "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project", and is responsible for the teaching organization and management of Beihai College.
