Liaoning Technical University is a higher-level university among the non-university institutions. Liaoning Technical University has achieved good results in the ranking of universities in China and the subject evaluation of the Ministry of Education.

Brief introduction of Liaoning Technical University:

Founded in 1949, 1978 was identified as one of the 88 national key universities in the State Council. 198 1 was approved as the first batch of master's degree awarding units, 1993 was approved as a doctoral degree awarding unit and a qualified foreign student receiving unit, and 1996 was renamed as Liaoning University of Engineering Science by Fuxin Mining Institute.

20 1999 approved the establishment of postdoctoral research mobile station. 20 12 Liaoning provincial people's government and the former state administration of work safety signed an agreement to build a school. In 20 13, it was approved as one of the key universities in the national "Basic Capacity Building Project for Colleges and Universities in Central and Western China", and in 20 19, it was selected as one of the key universities in Liaoning Province.

The school now has Fuxin Campus Zhonghua Road Campus, Huludao Campus Yulong Campus and Longwan Campus, covering an area of 4,240 mu. There are 39,000 registered students, including 28,000 full-time doctoral students, master students, undergraduates and international students. The school has vigorously strengthened the construction of "double first-class" and formed a discipline structure with industry as the main body and the coordinated development of engineering, management and science.

At present, there are 4 post-doctoral research mobile stations, 8 doctoral degree authorization points in first-class disciplines, 20 master degree authorization points in first-class disciplines, and master degree authorization points 10; National key cultivation disciplines 1 discipline, 3 first-class disciplines in Liaoning province and 7 provincial key disciplines. There are 12 national first-class majors and 8 national characteristic majors.
