In fact, it is not very useful to compare the two universities in terms of ranking, because both universities belong to upper-middle institutions of higher learning in China. Just like there are 60 students in the class, the eighth student got 78 points, and the 10 student got 76 points. Although the ranking is two, the score is not much different. Even the tenth student may be worse. So there is no need to entangle the question of who is better and who is worse in the two universities. Moreover, according to our experience, it doesn't really matter which university we go to. The most important thing is yourself. If you are a native of Yunnan, you should consider whether you can adapt to the weather and food in Shaanxi. Many of my classmates almost dropped out of school because they didn't adapt. The last question to consider is whether you can go back to work in Yunnan after graduation. If you want to go back to work in Yunnan, you'd better choose Yunnan University, because the job fair will make your graduation much more convenient. If you recruit a lot in Shaanxi, you have to go back and forth to Kunming, and even if you stay in the best semester in Yunnan after graduation, it is unlikely, because many recruiters go directly to the school to recruit, because you are not a student of our school, so you will lose many employment units.
In addition, I am a graduate student of Yunnan University and a classmate of Northwest University. The above is my personal experience, I hope to adopt it.
