What are the advantages and disadvantages of Korean graduate students in Dalian Foreign Studies University and Yanbian University? Can you help me analyze it? Difficulty and so on
Since the beginning of this year, the enrollment of Korean graduate students in Yanda University has changed a lot.

The Korean Department has expanded from the original Korean-Chinese comparative major to three majors, namely

Comparison of Language, Literature and Culture

Korea and education

Multilingual comparison

The professional direction is more detailed than in previous years.

The advantage of Yeonpyeong University lies in the comparative study of history, which makes it convenient to have more books and graduation papers on Korean. There are often lectures by Korean and Korean universities, and there are also lectures by experts from China in China.

However, from the perspective of language comparison, the Korean language family is not the best, and both Chinese and English departments have made great achievements.

Personally, I don't quite agree with Yanbian's language environment. If you have studied Korean in the coastal areas of East China, the language environment there is much better than here. You may not feel the advantage here. Moreover, I personally think that the language advantage in Yanbian area has not been well played, and it is more and more like a gimmick, especially for professionals.

Moreover, Yanda University is characterized by Korean, so relatively speaking, more people share the same resources and are not competitive.

If you go to a foreign university, there may be more opportunities for overseas teachers, scholarships from Confucius Institutes and so on.

However, there is an exchange study in the Graduate School of Korean Language Department of Yanda University, which is relatively easy to apply for, but I only heard about it last year.

Yanbian is relatively closed here, and the professional-related part-time job is only tutoring. I can only do translation and interpretation here, mostly from Beijing, Shanghai and Tianjin. The transportation fee is too expensive to give up this course, which is very unfavorable for the accumulation of experience.
