China Pharmaceutical University, located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, is a multidisciplinary key university directly under the Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China (PRC). It is a national "world-class discipline construction university", a national "21project" and a national "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform", and was selected as a national "16544".

The school is the chairman of the pharmaceutical professional teaching steering committee of the Ministry of Education, the chairman of the pharmaceutical education professional committee of the Chinese Pharmaceutical Association, the secretariat unit of the national pharmaceutical postgraduate education steering committee, the leading unit of the national pharmaceutical continuing education alliance, and the leading unit of the joint meeting of the national pharmaceutical experimental teaching demonstration center.
