A total of 1450 questionnaires were distributed in this survey, and 1300 valid questionnaires were recovered, with a recovery rate of 89.6%. 404 students (3 1%) put forward written suggestions, which better reflected the enthusiasm of students to participate in the management of student apartments and their trust in the management department of student apartments and the self-management Committee of college students. I would like to express my sincere thanks here.
The survey results reflect:
(1) Most students (76%) are familiar with the current system of lights-out at bedtime, some students (15%) are "not very clear" about the current system of lights-out at bedtime, and a few students (8%) are "unfamiliar" with the current system of lights-out at bedtime.
The current system of turning off the lights before going to bed (including closing the dormitory door and registering at night) was posted in September 2003, but it still remains in the bulletin board of the student apartment website of the campus network. Students who are "not very clear" and "don't understand" can spend more time studying.
(2) Under the current system of turning off the lights at bedtime, 77% of the dormitories turn off the lights manually for the students themselves, and 23% of the dormitories turn off the lights passively at 24: 00.
In the case of students turning off their own lights, 36% of the dormitory lights out around 23: 30, 32% around 23: 00, 22% around 23: 30 to 24: 00, and 10% around 22: 30. The system of turning off the lights when sleeping is well implemented.
Among the dormitories that choose to turn off the electricity and lights, 43% choose to lie in bed and read occasionally, 29% choose to study hard until 24 o'clock, 13% choose to turn on the lights, and 9% choose to do so because the map is convenient.
Generally speaking, the implementation of the current system of turning off the lights at bedtime is normal, with 45% of the students turning off the lights from 23: 30 to 24: 00 (including turning off the lights by themselves and using electricity), accounting for the vast majority. In this part of the dormitory, several dormitory members failed to coordinate.
We hope that the dormitory that can't be coordinated successfully will eventually be coordinated successfully with the students' own efforts, or explain the situation to the teachers in the student apartment management office in time and put forward mediation requirements, so as not to cause disunity among students; I hope students who are keen on playing games and cards can get rid of bad habits and study hard. I also hope that the convenient dormitory can save electricity and turn off the lights actively.
(3) In the survey, 33% of the dorms think that the current system of turning off the lights after going to bed is "unnecessary, which is good", and 19% of the dorms think it doesn't matter. However, 48% of the dormitories think it is necessary. Among these questionnaires that need to be adjusted, 43% of the dormitories think it is necessary to turn off the lights (not leave the lights on), 18% think it is necessary to turn off the lights in advance, and 39% of the dormitories do not make a choice.
(4) Among the 404 students (accounting for 3 1% of the questionnaire), 1 suggested canceling the unified lights-out system, 109 suggested keeping the socket energized while implementing the current lights-out system, 38 suggested turning off the lights in advance, and 37 suggested implementing the current lights-out system at ordinary times and postponing it on weekends.
The current bedtime system is:
In order to maintain the normal teaching and living order of the school and ensure the necessary rest time for students, the following provisions are made:
During the period of 1 .May1-1October1,the student dormitory will be closed at 0: 00 pm. When students go back to the dormitory, they must show their valid certificates at the doorman before entering. During June 1 0-May1,the student dormitory will be closed at night 10: 30. When students go back to the dormitory, they must show their valid certificates at the doorman before entering.
2. Students who return to the dormitory at night 12: 15 (including 12: 15) will be delayed. Special education should be given to those who delay returning to the dormitory, and informed criticism should be given, and his behavior should be recorded in his daily performance. Those who refuse to mend their ways after repeated education will be given a warning or above, depending on the seriousness of the case.
Three, according to the report or verified by the school, hospital, department and other self-discipline committees, those who do not go to bed in the designated bed will be treated as staying out at night. If you don't go home at night, you will be given a warning or above according to the seriousness of the case after education.
The explanation of the student apartment management office on the current system of turning off the lights before going to bed;
(1) The reason why the lights are not turned off at 23: 00 or 23: 30.
① The current system fully considers the factors of imperfect hardware. Because the power sockets of student dormitories in Hedong, Hexi and Tashan campuses are on the same line as the indoor fluorescent lamp power supply, if the lights are turned off at 23: 00 or 23: 30, the sockets will be cut off and cannot be charged with desk lamps or mobile phones.
② The current system of turning off the lights is to actively create conditions for students who study hard. First, it provides convenience for students returning to dormitory from all-night classrooms and study rooms, which is a system matching with all-night classrooms; Second, in fact, most students have adapted to the current lights-out system and need to "read" and "study hard" in bed from 23: 00 to 24: 00, so that these students avoid using candles and greatly eliminate potential safety hazards.
③ There is no contradiction between the current lights-out system and some students' requests for lights-out in advance. In the case of relatively concentrated accommodation in colleges (departments), each college (department) can formulate a light-off system that meets the teaching requirements of the department and the needs of professional learning, and each dormitory can also adjust the light-off time according to the wishes of students after the dormitory members coordinate and unify.
④22:30-24:00 is the best time for teachers and student cadres of the student apartment management office to visit the dormitory. During this period, the students in the dormitory are relatively concentrated, so it is easy for teachers to have in-depth exchanges with their classmates and listen to their opinions and suggestions during the visit; It is also the best time for students to sum up today, plan tomorrow and communicate with each other in depth.
⑤ The current lights-out system can cultivate the ability of "self-management, self-education and self-service" of college students. The good implementation of the system requires students to have good coordination ability, correctly handle the difference of lights-out time, and care about themselves and others; Students are required to have strict discipline to ensure that the whole dormitory area, building, floor and dormitory have a good learning and rest environment; Students need to cherish time, save electricity, make plans for study, rest and entertainment, arrange time reasonably and turn off the lights in time. In terms of bedtime discipline, the student apartment management office will definitely strengthen supervision and inspection, accept the report of every student, and ask the floor leaders to play an active role in maintaining normal discipline and order.
(2) Reasons for not agreeing to delay the lights-out after 24: 00 (all-night power supply, free lights-out)
(1) ensure the necessary rest time. According to relevant research data, a young person needs 6-8 hours' sleep to recover his physical strength and spirit, so as to ensure his normal work in a new day. College students have heavy learning tasks and great pressure. They usually have homework arrangements after eight in the morning, so they need plenty of energy to accept new knowledge. Last year, in the stage of all-night power supply and free lights-out in student apartments, some teachers in some colleges (departments) reported that some students played computer games late at night, didn't work and rest on time, and were exhausted in class the next day, which affected their normal study. It is recommended to turn off the power supply and lights in advance. Therefore, in order to maintain normal teaching and living order, we need to restrict and turn off the lights at 24: 00.
(2) Give consideration to the opinions and requirements of the vast majority of students. The questionnaire shows that after the third study climax (22: 00-23: 00, 1 hour before going to bed), most dormitories can observe the current lights-out system and turn off the lights in time according to the consensus reached by dormitory members. Although nearly 300 of the 404 students who have written suggestions suggested turning off the lights after 24: 00, there are various reasons: urinating in the middle of the night, charging the mobile phone, having something to do temporarily, going out to see a doctor, preventing thieves from stealing, studying hard and so on. These are all reasonable. However, it is difficult for us to find a perfect scheme, and the implementation of all-night power supply and free lights-out system in Nanshan Campus is not ideal. So we need to get the understanding of the above students.
(3) Answers to individual questions
① During June-June 10, the lights can be turned off continuously according to the situation to ensure the use of electric fans.
② After the door of the dormitory area is closed at night, students can still register with valid certificates (if there is no certificate, please ask the doorman to consult the accommodation book).
(3) The public toilets are not illuminated, and any student can apply for maintenance from 1999, 1904, 15 19, and the maintenance funds will be paid by the school's special maintenance funds. The lighting between students is too dim. Students can also report to the floor manager and counselor, and we can make adjustments together with the property management company.
(4) Don't delay turning off the lights during the preparation period and weekends, because learning and entertainment after 24: 00 will also affect the review and daily life of the next day.
⑤ You can't turn off the power supply during the day, because some students have to study in the dormitory during the day and need lighting. Many students have to use computers, and some students have to listen to music to charge their mobile phones. Of course, as the students said, we should save electricity, stay away from lights, and prohibit the use of high-power electrical appliances to ensure the safety of electricity use.
Although the problem of turning off the lights is single, it is closely related to every resident student, and the students' requirements and wishes are different, so it is difficult to have a comprehensive plan. The key to properly solve the problem of turning off the lights lies in our classmates. We should understand and support each other, reach an agreement, form good habits in daily life and study, be strict with ourselves, learn to tolerate and care for others, seek common ground while reserving differences, and constantly improve our self-management ability. It can be said that solving the problem of turning off the lights is a big test for our students in life and society.
As a special student apartment management department, we will overcome difficulties, go all out, under the leadership of the Student Affairs Office, implement the guiding ideology of "the interests of teachers and students are no small matter", do practical things and do good things for students in a down-to-earth manner, and start with the most realistic, most concerned and urgent things for students to continuously improve the management level of student apartments. At the same time, there is an urgent need for more support from students. I hope students can actively participate in the management of student apartments and create a better living and learning environment for us!
Special instructions:
The telephone and water and electricity management of student dormitory is managed by Jiaoyuan Property Company of Logistics Group. Students who have questions about payment and electricity consumption can call 1779 to ask the property management company, and they will get a satisfactory answer. When necessary, we can also study with our classmates. I would also like to remind the students that the expenses arising from the use of telephone and water and electricity in the dormitory should be paid to the property management company on time and in quantity.
