Air Force Military Medical University:
PLA Air Force Medical University (hereinafter referred to as "Air Force Medical University" and "Fourth Medical University") is located in Xi City, Shaanxi Province, and is a key comprehensive medical university directly under the China People's Liberation Army Air Force.
It is a national "double-class" construction institution, a national "2 1 1 project" and a key construction institution of the army "2 1 10 project", and a pilot institution of "excellent doctoral education and training plan". It is a national key university to train senior and intermediate medical professionals in the military.
194 1 year, the eighth route army Shanxi northwest military region health school was established; 1948 1 1 month, stationed in Xi 'an, renamed People's Medical College of Northwest Military Region and First Military Medical College of China People's Liberation Army; 1952 10, which was named the Fourth Military Medical University of the Chinese People's Liberation Army by order of the Central Military Commission. The former Fifth Military Medical University was formerly the Medical College of Nanjing National Central University, which was founded in 1935.
From 65438 to 0954, the former Fourth Military Medical University and the former Fifth Military Medical University merged to form the Fourth Military Medical University. 1959, the school was identified as the first batch of national key universities; 1997, becoming one of the key construction institutions of the national "2 1 1 project". In 20 17, due to the military reform in China, it was placed under the Air Force of the People's Liberation Army of China, renamed the Air Force Medical University of the People's Liberation Army, and retained the name of the Fourth Military Medical University.
Xi 'an Medical College:
Xi 'an Medical University, referred to as "Western Medicine" for short, is a full-time undergraduate college organized by Shaanxi Provincial People's Government. It was selected as the first batch of pilot universities in the excellent doctoral education and training program of the Ministry of Education, the first batch of pilot universities in the reform of the training mode of national medical master's degree graduates, the construction unit of "first-class colleges" in Shaanxi Province, the training base of general practitioners in Shaanxi Province, and the training center of grassroots doctors in Shaanxi Province.
The school was founded in 195 1, formerly known as Shaanxi Health School. 65438-0959, Shaanxi Health Cadre College was established by the provincial government. 1994 The State Education Commission approved the establishment of Shaanxi Medical College. In February 2006, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, it was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Xi 'an Medical College.
