Tsinghua University:

Tsinghua University's predecessor, Tsinghua Academy, was founded in 19 1 1, and 19 12 was renamed Tsinghua Academy. 1928 changed its name to National Tsinghua University. 1937 after the full-scale outbreak of War of Resistance against Japanese Aggression, it moved south to Changsha and formed the National Changsha Temporary University with Peking University and Nankai University. /kloc-moved to Kunming in 0/938 and changed its name to National Southwest Associated University.

/kloc-moved back to Tsinghua campus in 0/946, where there are 5 colleges and 26 departments of literature, law, science, engineering and agriculture.

After the national colleges and universities were adjusted from 65438 to 0952, Tsinghua University became a multi-disciplinary industrial university, focusing on training engineering and technical personnel for the country, and was known as the "cradle of red engineers".

Since the reform and opening up, Tsinghua University has gradually established the long-term goal of building a world-class university and entered a new period of vigorous development. The school has successively resumed or established the disciplines of science, literature, medicine and economic management, and established a graduate school and a continuing education college.

Peking University:

Peking University, founded in 1898, was the first national comprehensive university in China and the highest educational administrative organ in China at that time. It was renamed as 19 12 after the Revolution of 1911.

As the center of the New Culture Movement and the birthplace of the May 4th Movement, as the birthplace of China's earliest dissemination of Marxism and democratic scientific thoughts, and as the earliest activity base of China's * * * production party, Peking University has made irreplaceable contributions to the national rejuvenation and liberation, national construction and development, social civilization and progress, and played an important vanguard role in the modernization process of China.
