University:
Universities are institutions of higher education that provide teaching and research.
A university refers to an ordinary institution of higher learning. This is an organization with unique functions. It is an institution of higher learning that inherits, studies, integrates and innovates advanced academic knowledge, and is interrelated with social, economic and political institutions. It is not only the product of the development of human culture to a certain stage, but also a unique culture gradually formed on the basis of long-term school-running practice through historical accumulation, self-efforts and external environmental influence.
Universities have a history of thousands of years since they came into being. At first, it mainly developed from Germany, Britain and other countries. Modern universities in China originated in the West, which evolved from European medieval universities, British universities, German universities and then American universities. No matter what era the university is, it is a creative inheritance rather than a denial of previous universities.
Universities not only cultivate higher education talents, but also engage in related scientific experiments. Regular full-time national universities have both junior college students and undergraduates. College majors train professionals who specialize in research, while undergraduate majors train generalists. After completing the undergraduate course, you can study for master's and doctoral degrees at different levels, or you can continue to study for master's and doctoral degrees (double doctoral certificates will be issued after graduation).
As an educational institution, it not only teaches and educates people, but also conducts research. Doing research is the difference between universities and primary and secondary schools. Only undergraduate and postgraduate degrees will be awarded.
