The classification of electricians can be described as varied. For example, it can be divided into social electrician and industrial electrician according to their attributes. According to the nature of work, it can be divided into installation electrician, operation electrician, maintenance electrician and production management electrician; According to the scope of work, it can be divided into enterprise electrician, rural electrician, building electrician and property electrician; According to the technical level, it can be divided into junior electrician, intermediate electrician and senior electrician. According to the nature of voltage, it can be divided into high voltage electrician, low voltage electrician and special electrician; According to the voltage level, it can be divided into strong current electrician and weak current electrician.
In power supply enterprises, electricians can be divided into back office electricians and on-site electricians according to their workplaces. Background electricians include substation operators, substation maintenance workers, relay protection workers, electrical testers, meter readers, electric energy metering workers and meter-receiving electricians. Types of electrician certificates
Vocational qualification certificate. Professional qualification certificate is the certificate that the holder has the necessary knowledge and skills to engage in electrician work. The professional skill appraisal institution of the Ministry of Labor and Social Security conducts objective, fair, scientific and standardized evaluation and appraisal of the skill level or professional qualification of electricians, and issues corresponding national professional qualification certificates to those who pass the examination. The national vocational qualification grades are divided into five grades: primary, intermediate, advanced, technician and senior technician. The vocational qualification certificate is universal throughout the country and does not need annual examination. According to the National Occupational Classification Ceremony, the jobs related to electricians include maintenance electricians and transformer equipment installers.
Special operation certificate. The state stipulates that operators of special operations must hold relevant certificates, and the electrician's special operation certificate is equivalent to the post certificate, which is necessary for engaging in electrician work, and mainly proves that the holder has the knowledge and ability of electrician's safe operation. The electrician special operation certificate is issued by the State Administration of Work Safety, valid for 3 years, and must be reviewed after expiration.
Network access license, the electrician. It is a license to engage in electrical installation, test, maintenance and operation on the user's power receiving device or transmission device. Electricians working in the network shall engage in the network operation within the operation scope determined by the electrician's network operation license. Electrician's network operation license is divided into three categories: low voltage, high voltage and special, which is issued by the State Electricity Regulatory Commission and is valid for 3 years, and must be reviewed after expiration.

Some units require electrician's three certificates to be integrated, that is, electrician operators are required to have electrician's special operation certificate, national vocational qualification certificate and electrician's network entry operation certificate at the same time. The electrician's special operation certificate is one of the important contents of the safety inspection of the unit by the competent department, and it is an important basis for investigating the responsibility of the unit and the operator for safety accidents, so it is also the primary basis for the recruitment and employment of the employer. Engaged in low-voltage electrical operation, installation, maintenance and other work. , must obtain electrician special operation certificate before mount guard.
Electrician's professional qualification certificate is a certificate indicating the level qualification of engaging in electrician's profession, a certificate of the electrician's knowledge and skill level of the holder, a certificate of the holder's qualification for job hunting, employment and business opening, and an important basis for the employer's ability performance and salary grading in the process of recruitment, employment and job transfer. It can't replace the electrician's special operation certificate, and you can't work as an electrician with this certificate alone.
Electrician's network access certificate is an effective certificate to show that electrician has network access qualification. Electricians entering the network shall obtain network access license according to regulations. Unregistered personnel who have not obtained network access license or network access license are not allowed to work in the network.
It should be noted that these three certificates must be implemented and operated in accordance with national laws and regulations, and these three certificates are common throughout the country, and no private institution has the right to issue relevant certificates.
