Zhou Fulin, a native of Chaoyang, Guangdong, is an expert in engineering structure and engineering earthquake resistance and disaster reduction. He is known as China's earthquake-resistant authority and modern "Zhang Heng", and his lifelong ambition is to resist earthquakes. President ASSISi, academician of China Academy of Engineering, executive director of Earthquake Prevention and Disaster Reduction Branch of China Architecture Society, chairman of structural damping control committee, vice chairman of Guangdong Civil Architecture Society, chairman of Guangzhou Science and Technology Association, distinguished academic consultant of Hunan University 1, director of Engineering Earthquake Center of Guangzhou University, and professor of Civil Engineering College of Guangzhou University. 1993, he designed and built the first laminated rubber bearing isolation residential building in China, which was rated as "the third milestone in the development of isolation technology in the world" by UNIDO consultants. The first railway isolation bridge and the first highway isolation bridge in China were built. Presided over the design of the world's largest building isolation project.
