West China University is divided into two semesters a year, and the second semester is the main application semester for students. The first semester of Australian universities usually starts in February-March, and the second semester usually starts in July-August.

Every February and July, each semester includes at least 13 study weeks.

Postgraduates' starting time and admission time:

Language classes start time: Language classes are provided by CELT Language Center. After the language course is passed, students can enter the main course without taking IELTS. The courses are 10 and 20 weeks respectively, and the starting time is mid-April and 10.
