Heilongjiang University implements a postgraduate scholarship system, including postgraduate scholarships and postgraduate grants. Postgraduate scholarships include national scholarships, academic scholarships and special scholarships. Postgraduate grants include national grants, national student loans, "three assistances" post allowances and special difficulties grants. Full-time non-directional China graduate students who are included in the national postgraduate enrollment plan, have their personnel files transferred to our school during the basic study period (academic system) can apply for national scholarships and subject scholarships in accordance with the prescribed conditions and procedures. The national scholarship award standard for graduate students is 20,000 yuan/year. Academic scholarships are divided into two grades: freshman and graduate, which are 12000 yuan/year and 8000 yuan/year respectively, with a total coverage ratio of about 50%; Scholarships for second-and third-year graduate students are divided into three grades, namely 12000 yuan/year, 10000 yuan/year and 8000 yuan/year, with a total coverage ratio of about 60%. The national grant for graduate students is used to support full-time non-directional graduate students (except those with fixed salaries) who are included in the national graduate enrollment plan and whose personnel files are transferred to our school during the basic study period (academic system), and to support their basic living expenses. The national grant for postgraduate students is 6000 yuan per student per year.
