Nantong university gate
College was founded in February 1999, formerly known as Xinglin College of Nantong Medical College. In May 2004, Nantong University was formed by the merger of Nantong Medical College, Nantong Institute of Technology and Nantong Normal College, and was renamed as Xinglin College of Nantong University.

Campus environment:
The college takes Qidong campus as the main campus, and the student dormitory is managed in apartments. There is a special student activity room in the apartment, equipped with domestic direct dial telephone, cable TV and computer network interface. Each student has a relatively independent study space and complete sanitary facilities.
