1984 Beijing university of Chinese medicine established the Chinese medicine clinic of guoyitang, which is located in the south gate east of the school (Heping street campus). After more than 30 years of construction and development, the Museum of Traditional Chinese Medicine has become a comprehensive body integrating medical services, personnel training, scientific research, classic inheritance and cultural exchange. It is an important window for Beijing University of Chinese Medicine to communicate with foreign countries, a manifestation of the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine, and a cradle for Beijing University of Chinese Medicine to breed famous doctors.

Because Beijing TV station broadcasts the program "Yangshengtang", many friends go to the Chinese Medicine Museum for treatment. The Chinese medicine clinic introduced by Beijing TV Station is called "Chinese Medicine Clinic of Beijing University of Chinese Medicine".
