China's four major academies: Yingtianfu Academy, Yuelu Academy, Bailudong Academy and Songyang Academy.

yingtianfu academy of classical learning

Yingtianfu Academy, also known as Yingtian Academy, Suiyang Academy, Nanjing Academy, Du Nan Academy and Nanjing imperial academy, is located in the south lake of Shangqiu Ancient City, Suiyang District, Shangqiu City, Henan Province. It is the predecessor of Suiyang Academy, founded by Yang Yun, a native of Shangqiu at the end of Jin Dynasty. It is the highest institution of higher learning in the Northern Song Dynasty.

Yuelu academy

Yuelu Academy is located at the foot of Yuelu Mountain on the west bank of Xiangjiang River in Changsha, Hunan, a famous historical and cultural city in China. As one of the oldest universities in the world, its ancient traditional academy buildings are still intact, and every group of courtyards, every stone tablet, every tile and every wind lotus shines with the humanistic spirit tempered by time.

Bailudong collage

Bailudong Academy is located at the southern foot of Wulaofeng in Jiujiang City, Jiangxi Province. "It started in the Tang Dynasty, flourished in the Song Dynasty, and followed the Ming and Qing Dynasties", with a history of 1000 years. Bailudong Academy has such architectural attractions as Imperial Pavilion, Mingluntang, Bailudong and Four Sendai.

Song Yang Academy of Classical Learning

Songyang Academy is located at the southern foot of Songshan Mountain, 2.5 kilometers north of Dengfeng City, Zhengzhou City, Henan Province. It is backed by Ji Junfeng and faces Shuangxi River. Because it is located in the sun of Songshan Mountain, it is named Songyang Academy. Founded in the eighth year of Emperor Xiaowen of the Northern Wei Dynasty (AD 484), it is called Songyang Temple. The Tang Dynasty changed the view of Songyang.

After the Five Dynasties, it was converted into Taiyi Academy. In the second year of Daoism in the Northern Song Dynasty (996), it was changed to "Taishi Museum" and the Nine Classics was printed. In the second year of Song Jing (1035), it was named Songyang Academy.
