Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine is a teaching and research university with traditional Chinese medicine as its dominant discipline. It is a key construction university in Zhejiang Province determined by the People's Government of Zhejiang Province, state administration of traditional chinese medicine and the Ministry of Education. The school was founded in June 1953, when it was called Zhejiang Chinese Medicine Advanced School; Zhejiang College of Traditional Chinese Medicine was established in June, 1959. The campus is located in the former site of Zhejiang University, Chun Qing Street, Hangzhou.

1998 was granted the right to confer a doctorate; In March 2000, he moved to Hangzhou Binjiang Higher Education Park to run a school. In February 2006, it was renamed Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine; On September 20 15, Fuchun Campus (the relocation project of Binjiang College) was put into use, and the school-running mode of two campuses was opened. The school covers an area of 1000 mu, with a total construction area of over 470,000 square meters.
