Main courses and professional studios:
Basic courses: including painting basics (sketch basics, color basics, Chinese painting basics); Design basis; Printmaking foundation; The foundation of calligraphy.
Professional theoretical courses: including perspective and anatomy; Art history of China; History of foreign art; Introduction to fine arts; Chinese painting theory; Western painting theory; Art appreciation and criticism; Introduction of cultural and artistic masterpieces; Aesthetics.
Chinese painting studios are mainly divided into three categories: landscapes, flowers and birds, and figures. One studio is dominated by meticulous brushwork, while the other studio is dominated by intentional brushwork.
Oil painting studio: divided into three major studios. The first studio pays attention to concreteness, and advocates earnestly studying the traditional European painting from the Western Renaissance to the later impressionism, and taking the road of realistic painting. The second studio focuses on image expression, fully draws lessons from western modern painting language forms, advocates the free creative state of "realizing images and creating environment", and has the painting style of oriental intention spirit. The third studio pays attention to freehand brushwork and modernity, and advocates extensive exposition of eastern and western art and creation of new art forms.
Printmaking studio course: divided into woodblock and copperplate studio.
