In March 2003, it was approved by the Ministry of Education as an independent college with full-time undergraduate level;
On June 20 10, it became the first independent college in Chongqing to obtain the right to award a bachelor's degree;
On April 27th, 20 13, the Ministry of Education agreed to transform Yucai College of Southwest University into an independent private undergraduate college named Chongqing College of Humanities.
