Northeast Agricultural University (NEAU for short) is located at No.600, Changjiang Road, Xiangfang District, Harbin City, Heilongjiang Province, and belongs to the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province. It is a national "double-first-class" construction university, and the first batch of "2 1 1 project" construction universities.
The People's Government of Heilongjiang Province, together with China People's Republic of China and the Ministry of Agriculture, established colleges and universities, which were selected into the basic capacity building project of colleges and universities in the central and western regions of China, the pilot program of education and training of outstanding agricultural and forestry talents, and the innovation ability improvement program of colleges and universities. It is the first batch of doctoral and master's degree awarding units in China and a provincial-level university under key construction in Heilongjiang Province.
1948 was founded in Harbin. The school was originally named Northeast Agricultural College, and successively belonged to the Ministry of Agriculture of Northeast Administrative Committee, the Ministry of Higher Education, the Ministry of Agriculture, the Agricultural Committee of Heilongjiang Province and the Education Department of Heilongjiang Province.
198 1 was identified as a provincial key institution in Heilongjiang province, 1994 merged with Heilongjiang Agricultural Management Cadre College to form Northeast Agricultural University.
