The meaning of the emblem of Nanhua University
The emblem of the University of South China means that the emblem of the University of South China is round, with one side like a bud and the other like a blooming petal. The three-layer petal ring, named in Chinese and English, is like a blazing torch and the rising sun in Ran Ran, symbolizing the unity, progress and prosperity of the University of South China. The standard color of the school emblem is Technology Blue (C 100, M70).

University of South China is a comprehensive university jointly established by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology, the State Bureau of Science, Technology and Industry for National Defense, China National Nuclear Corporation, China Nuclear Industry Construction Group Corporation and Hunan Provincial People's Government. The school was formed by the merger of Central South Institute of Technology and Hengyang Medical College, and the Sixth Institute of Nuclear Industry. It is a university supported by the basic capacity building project of universities in the central and western regions of the country, an outstanding engineer and excellent doctor education and training plan approved by the Ministry of Education, and a number of undergraduate enrollment institutions. The school is located in Hengyang City, Hunan Province, with two campuses, Hongxiang and Yumu.
