The 1984 National University of Technology (NTU), founded by six American companies, including Kodak, GE, Hewlett-Packard, IBM, DEC and NCR, is the first university in the world that completely adopts distance electronic teaching. At first, nine universities provided teaching videos. Universities rent satellite lines to transmit teaching content to "learning points" around the world. At present, 47 universities offer 1200 degree courses and 400 non-degree courses, and there are more than 400 "learning points" around the world, including China, with more than 654.38+million students. Universities can award master's degrees in engineering, and more than 700 people have obtained this degree. Now NTU's teaching and answering questions mainly rely on the Internet.
