Linfen College of Shanxi Normal University is a junior college, nominally called Shanxi Normal University, but it is an independent college. There is no dependence on Shanxi Normal University. Most of them are two A books.

Linfen College of Shanxi Normal University is located in the ancient Linfen, Du Yao. Its predecessor was Linfen Normal School, which was founded in 19 18. In 2000, with the approval of Shanxi Provincial People's Government 12, Linfen Normal School, Linfen Education College and Xixian Normal School were merged, and their educational resources were strategically reorganized, merged and upgraded to train primary and secondary school teachers at the junior college level. It is a "three independent" independent college with independent campus, independent funds and independent legal person.

The new campus of Linfen College of Shanxi Normal University covers an area of 1 1,000 mu and is under construction. The new campus of Linfen College of Shanxi Normal University is located in Liu Cun, Yaomiao Town, Yaodu District, Linfen City. It starts from Huamen South Street in the east, Dingfa Street in the west, Xuefu Middle Road in the south and Planning Street in the north, covering an area of about 1 1,000 mu.
