Journal of Northeastern University (Social Science Edition) is a comprehensive academic theoretical journal sponsored by Northeastern University and headed by the Ministry of Education. Founded in 1999, bimonthly, 96 pages each. Relying on the superior teaching and scientific research environment of Northeastern University, this journal adheres to the correct direction and purpose of running a journal, and is committed to exchanging and disseminating outstanding achievements in the field of philosophy and social sciences, promoting the improvement of the academic level of philosophy and social sciences in Northeastern University, promoting the combination of philosophy and social sciences with natural sciences and engineering technology, and accelerating the integration of discipline construction and the improvement of talent quality. The main columns are: philosophy of science and technology, economy and management, politics and public management, Marxist theory, law, language and literature, education and so on.

"Research on Philosophy of Science and Technology" is the characteristic column and key column of this journal. In 2006 and 20 10, it was rated as "excellent column of national social science journal" and "characteristic column of national social science journal". Relying on the philosophy of science and technology of Northeastern University, this column publishes high-quality academic papers on philosophy of science and technology at home and abroad. Since the establishment of 10, more than 200 papers have been published, with a reprint rate of 40%.

In recent years, dozens of papers in this column have been reprinted by three authoritative abstracts in China. Among them, Liu Jiaoshou's paper "How Technology Determines Human Nature" was reprinted by Xinhua Digest,No. 1 1 in 2006. Professor Wang Ziyan's paper "Urban sprawl worthy of attention" was reprinted by Academic Abstracts of Liberal Arts in Colleges and Universities,No. 1 in 2006. Zhou Chunyan's doctoral thesis "Double Triple Helix: Innovation and Sustainable Development" was reprinted by Academic Abstracts of Liberal Arts in Colleges and Universities, No.4, 2006; Professor Fan Chen's paper "On the Trend and Path of Engineering Ethics Research" was reprinted by China Social Science Abstracts in the 3rd issue in 2007. Wang Ling's doctoral thesis "Historical Analysis of the Process and Characteristics of the Combination of Science and Technology with the Olympic Games" was reprinted by Xinhua Digest inNo. 15, 2008. Sven Ove Hansen's paper Risk and Safety from the Perspective of Philosophy of Technology was reprinted by Xinhua Digest,No. 1 10, and so on.

This journal is the source journal of CSSCI (Citation Index of Social Sciences in China), the national Chinese core journal, the top 100 journals of social sciences in national universities and the core academic journal of RCCSE in China, and has been included in authoritative databases at home and abroad such as Cambridge Scientific Abstracts (CSA), Copernicus Index (ic) and China Scientific Papers Online. According to the data of 20 1 1 Annual Report on Impact Factors of China Academic Journals (Humanities and Social Sciences), the comprehensive impact factor of 20 10 Social Sciences Edition is 1.052, ranking 22nd among the national comprehensive humanities and social sciences journals (673 kinds). The journal impact factor is 0.406.

The manuscript should be clear-cut, innovative, rigorous in argument, accurate in data, fluent in language and concise in words, with a length of 6,000-9,000 words (including charts, Chinese and English abstracts, that is, "the number of words" in computer statistics). The text should be typeset on A4 paper No.5 1.5 times the line spacing, and the headline should be No.2 or No.3.

2. The contributions include (in order): title (within 20 words), name, author's unit (full name and postcode of the unit), Chinese abstract, keywords (3-5), Chinese library classification number (refer to China Library Classification), text, references and English title, author, unit, abstract and keywords, and English.

3. The abstract should explain the topic scope and content outline of the article, and don't use the first person such as "this article" and "author" as the subject, with 200 ~ 250 words.

4. The author's brief introduction is placed at the bottom of the first page, including: name, year of birth, gender, nationality (abbreviated to Han nationality), native place (native place), unit, professional title and degree (master or doctor). Only the first author and professors who are not the first author are introduced.

5. References only include the most important and published documents. References should be marked with "[serial number]" in the text and arranged in the order in which they appear in the text. The recording formats of several main types of references (including punctuation marks) are as follows.

Periodical: [serial number] author, title [J], publication name (foreign publication name can be abbreviated, abbreviation point can be omitted), publication year and volume (period).

Number): Start and end page numbers.

Monograph: [serial number] author. Title [M]. Version. Place of publication (city name): publishing house, year of publication: page number.

Collection: [serial number] author. The specific article title refers to [M]// favorite author. Collection name. Place of publication (city name): publishing house, year of publication: starting and ending pages.

Dissertation: [serial number] author. Name of the paper [D]. Storage location (city name): storage unit, year: page number.

6. Papers funded by the Fund shall indicate the project name and project number at the bottom of the homepage.
