China Pharmaceutical University was founded in 1936, formerly known as National Pharmaceutical College (four-year undergraduate program). 1996, becoming the national "2 1 1 project" key construction university. In 2000, the school was transferred from the State Administration of Pharmaceutical Products to the Ministry of Education. 200 1 Jiangsu medical school merged into the school.
Located in Nanjing, Jiangsu Province, it is a multidisciplinary key university directly under the Ministry of Education of China. It is the national "world-class discipline construction university", the national "21project" and "985 engineering advantage discipline innovation platform", and was selected as the national "1/plan".
2 1 1 Project Description:
"2 1 1 project", that is, the construction project of about 100 universities and a number of key disciplines facing 2 1 century, has greatly improved the education quality, scientific research, management level and running of about 100 universities and a number of key disciplines after several years of efforts.
Among them, some key institutions of higher learning and some key disciplines are close to or reach the advanced level of similar international schools and disciplines, most of them have obviously improved their school conditions, made great achievements in personnel training and scientific research, adapted to the needs of regional and industry development, and are generally at the domestic advanced level, playing a backbone and exemplary role.
