Wuxi Branch of Southeast University was established in April, 1988. It is one of the first batch of key university branches approved by the former State Education Commission. It is a high-level talent training and scientific and technological innovation base jointly established by Southeast University and Wuxi.
Wuxi branch is located in Taihu International Science Park, Wuxi High-tech Zone, with a construction area of nearly 654.38+10,000 square meters. It has formed an all-round, multi-level and diversified school-running system with complete supporting facilities such as life, teaching, scientific research, undergraduate and graduate students, full-time and on-the-job education and continuing education.

Discipline construction:
In 2009, wuxi new district Municipal Government invested 7 million yuan to build two high-level teaching laboratories, namely "Integrated Circuit Design" and "Embedded System", and 90 graduate students with dual certificates in integrated circuit engineering were admitted to Wuxi Branch, which started the large-scale training of engineering masters.
In order to improve the innovation ability of Wuxi Branch and establish a good environment for high-level personnel training, the construction of various innovation platforms has been promoted in an orderly manner. Relying on the "bioelectronics State Key Laboratory" of Southeast University, the Wuxi Key Laboratory of Biochip was built and put into operation with an investment of 6 million yuan.
Focusing on the demand of local integrated circuit industry in Wuxi, the National ASIC Engineering Technology Center (Wuxi) supported by 30 million yuan of construction funds was initially established.
