Students of Guangzhou University have six opportunities to apply for a major change during their studies: "There is no threshold for transfer, but there are requirements for transfer". All eligible students can apply for changing majors, and they can change majors through the examination of changing majors, giving students more opportunities to choose majors. However, sports and art majors cannot be transferred to ordinary majors, and Guangdong normal majors cannot be transferred to majors.
