Homosexuality seems no stranger to us. With the increasingly prominent problem of homosexuality in colleges and universities, the problem of homosexuality among college students is gradually taken seriously. In order to understand college students' understanding and attitude towards the causes of homosexuality, this paper takes college students of different majors as the research object, conducts a questionnaire survey on college students in the north and south campuses of Guizhou University in the form of a self-made questionnaire, and analyzes and studies the collected questionnaire data. The survey results show that college students can learn from subjective motivation. Negative experiences and environmental impacts? 7? Homosexuality, although it has existed since the birth of mankind. It has long been regarded as pathological, abnormal, evil and criminal in human history, condemned, expelled and spurned by society and church, and sanctioned by law, so it adopts a discriminatory and repressive attitude towards homosexuality. 1973 updated the definition of "homosexuality", which is no longer synonymous with "mental patients" and "people with mental errors". However, every country and individual has different attitudes towards homosexuals belonging to ordinary people, and the behaviors they lead to are also very different. There was once a pair of gay men who were very popular on the Internet-Xia He and Luo Luo. In real life, sometimes a girl dressed as a boy is close to another girl and will be suspected of being gay. With the development of the times, although it is increasingly accepted by the society as a unique subculture phenomenon, we don't seem to particularly like such lovers, and we don't seem to agree with homosexuality in the society we live in now, although some countries recognize homosexuality and provide them with a series of protective measures, such as Britain and Canada. However, some countries still make it difficult for homosexuals in politics, economy and law, such as China and the United States. The living conditions of gay college students have a great influence on the increasingly diversified campus culture and college students. Therefore, it is undoubtedly an important task for university administrators to study the current situation, causes, influences and countermeasures of homosexuality among college students and build a campus culture with all-round humanistic care. And the students around us, do you praise or belittle homosexuality? To this end, we made an in-depth investigation.

2. Main purpose

Thought has certain influence on politics, economy and culture, and good thought promotes its development. So what is a good idea? Different fields have different evaluation criteria. Personally, I think it's good to treat homosexuality correctly.

First of all, homosexuality is a rational existence. If we still exclude them ideologically, it will appear that our ideological level is low, which is not conducive to the improvement of personal quality. Secondly, thoughts often affect people's behavior. If a person is dissatisfied with homosexuality for a long time, it is bound to be self-sustaining, just like there are still incidents in which American youths hunt down homosexuals in the street. This is not just an ideological issue, but an illegal issue; It is not only a personal quality problem, but also a social moral problem! One person's impulse is self-destruction, and many people's impulses will cause social unrest and national instability, involving not only economy, politics and culture. What's more, impulsiveness is often the spokesman of young people. Therefore, the purpose of our research is multi-faceted and multi-level.

Our starting point is to understand our generation's understanding, attitude and behavioral tendency towards homosexuality. Our research purpose is not only to correctly understand homosexuals, but also to protect our homeland, alert the impulsive generation and avoid unnecessary accidents. This is a question that we ordinary people should ponder deeply. Let more people know about homosexuality, let more people realize how their attitudes will affect individuals and society, and let more people think deeply and correct their attitudes again. This is the significance of our research-based learning.

3. The choice and profile of the interviewee

Undergraduate students in Huaxi North and South Campus of Guizhou University, and some teachers.

4. Main methods and processes of investigation

In the form of self-made questionnaires, we distributed online questionnaires and paper questionnaires to different colleges, classes, dormitories and teachers in the north and south campuses of Guizhou University from the ninth week to the thirteenth week. We asked the students to help us distribute the questionnaires together, and asked them about their own details, and there would be interviews when necessary. In addition, we make comprehensive statistics and analysis on the collected questionnaires, and collect and study the data. We try to investigate college students' knowledge, attitude and behavior tendency towards homosexuality. It also discusses whether there are differences in gender and age. And analyzed some unique views of the interviewees on homosexuality and the influence of personal attitude on their behavior tendency.

5. The main information and data obtained from the investigation

5. 1 About homosexuality

5. 1. 1 What is "homosexuality"?

Homosexuality means that a person's sexual, psychological and emotional interests are mainly directed at people of the same sex, regardless of whether this interest is manifested in explicit behavior. Those who have love, sexual desire or admiration for the same sex are called homosexuals.

5. 1.2 related terms

The obscure name of homosexuality in ancient China: "the goodness of Longyang"; "Peach Love"; Addiction to Broken Sleeves; Now the names of lesbians are: Lala, LES, Lala, Lily and Lace, among which T, P and H); ? GAY men are called gay, gay, queer, brokeback, brokeback (including 1, 0, 0.5, etc. ).

5. 1.3 Historical review

The development of homosexual culture in Europe reached its peak in ancient Greece. Many famous scholars, such as Herodotus, Plato, Xenophon and Athanas, have mentioned or discussed the homosexual culture prevailing in ancient Greek society in their works and discourses.

Homosexuality was invented by German doctor Benckert in 1869. Before he coined this medical term, homosexual behavior was condemned by Christianity as a sin and illegal in some European countries, including Britain.

From 65438 to 0973, the American Psychological Association and the American Psychiatric Association removed homosexual behavior from the disease classification system. On April 20th, 20001year, the third edition of the classification and diagnosis standard of mental disorders in China was released. The definition of homosexuality in the diagnostic criteria is very detailed, and homosexuality is not necessarily a psychological abnormality.

Therefore, homosexuality is no longer classified as pathological. No longer regard homosexuality as a morbid psychology. On this basis, gay culture began to flourish.

5. 1.4 college students' understanding of homosexuality

There are several views on the understanding of homosexuality:

(1) This view is very vague. At first, it was considered as an abnormal normal phenomenon, and at the same time it was considered as an evolutionary demand.

(2) It is considered that homosexuality is an intimate and attached relationship between two people of the same sex.

Normal emotional choice? Normal physiological phenomenon?

Alternative fashion trends? An abnormal psychological distortion

5.2? About homosexual contact

5.2. 1? Time to contact the concept of homosexuality

It can be roughly divided into four periods: junior high school, senior high school, university and postgraduate period, in which beginners contact? People (including? A girl? A boy); Is there one in high school? People (including? A boy? Girls); University? People (including? A girl? A boy); What did you come into contact with when you were a graduate student A girl.

5.2.2? The way to understand homosexuality

It can be roughly divided into five categories: friends, books, TV, movies and radio? , network and school.

Among them? How many times did you appear in the survey? Second, explain? It is the main way to understand the respondents, which indirectly or directly affects the attitude of college students towards homosexuality and the trend of their behavior towards homosexuality.

Second,? How many times did it appear in the survey? Second, after the media, it is the second largest way for respondents to understand homosexuality;

The same,? It also exerts a subtle influence on college students' attitude and behavior towards homosexuality;

Again? (What is the frequency of appearance? Time), what does this mean? The influence is inevitable;

And finally? The number of times it appears is only? Time. This shows that there are few homosexuals around college students, and many people learn about homosexuality through online TV media, such as through some forums, news reports or programs.

5.2.3? Gay knowledge

This problem can be divided into three levels: knowing that homosexuality means that two people of the same sex like each other, love each other and have physical intimacy, and thinking that homosexuality means that two people with the same surname get married? The last one is: not very clear, unclear accounted for? Some people think that homosexuality means that two people, a man and a woman with the same surname, get married. Do you know that homosexuality is a profession in which two people of the same sex like each other, love each other and have physical intimacy? People. ? As can be seen from the survey results, the respondents' understanding of homosexuality is generally not high enough, and several people's answers are vague. Generally speaking, few people know more than we expected. Maybe they are different majors? There are differences between industries. For example, students majoring in psychology may have been exposed to such topics or related knowledge in their own professional study, so their understanding of this aspect is redundant for students of other majors. It is also possible that there is a difference between rural areas and cities. ......

5.3? About the causes of homosexuality

There are three main reasons for this problem: congenital formation, that is, homosexuality is an innate love tendency, which is determined by genetic basis; Feeling frustrated, that is, falling out of love once or more, feeling that same-sex relationship can give people a sense of security; Environmental impact, that is, it may be due to the upbringing of parents, the influence of classmates around, the environment of childhood, etc.

Regarding college students' views on the status of gay families, we have set six options, namely, having a happy family, a single-parent family, frequent domestic violence, parents who like gambling, parents who work outside the home and have no time to take care of their children, and living in a reorganized family.

Among them, internal reasons appeared 18 times in the interview, and external reasons appeared 20 times. ? However, not all respondents said this for a specific reason. Many people point out that homosexuality is the product of the interaction between heredity and environment, and the simple reason is that it will not change sexual orientation. It is mentioned that some boys grew up in a group of girls, and in her mind they are girls rather than boys. Like all the girls they have come into contact with, they need a strong boy to protect themselves and be their other half, so they have a homosexual tendency. However, some respondents believe that some homosexuals are the result of hormone secretion in their own bodies. If men secrete too much estrogen, they will pursue men, but women will still. Similarly, in the interview, some people put forward the compromise view that homosexuality is the product of the interaction between internal changes and external environment, and it is the same love relationship as heterosexuality. Secondly, some people think that homosexuality and heterosexuality are the same, but the proportion is very small. It is also a free way of love and cannot be discriminated against.

5.4? Attitudes towards homosexuality

On this issue, we are divided into three categories: there will be no different eyes at all; Mind a little? ; I like it very much.

Among them, the frequency of positive attitude is 15, the frequency of indifferent attitude is 8, and the frequency of negative attitude is 9. In the interview, when asked this question, several people did not respond immediately, but analyzed their attitudes towards homosexuality according to their intimacy. One interviewee thinks that he will gradually accept homosexuality as time goes by, which shows that his views on homosexuality will change in the process. See 3.5 for detailed analysis.

5.5? Behavioral tendencies towards homosexuality (oneself or family members have homosexual tendencies)

The answer to this question can also be divided into three categories: stay away, contact, and do nothing. Among them, Yuanfang appeared in the interview for 8 times, contacted 14 times, and did not act for 3 times. For this question, many people respond based on the attitude in 3.4. One interviewee mentioned that if he is a homosexual he doesn't know, he doesn't care, doesn't alienate and doesn't touch, that's someone else's business, and it's not painful for him, but what if his friends are gay? If he is in love, he thinks he will persuade his friends not to be gay, but to develop heterosexuality; Some people think that if there are homosexuals around him, he will support them, not discriminate or "play mandarin ducks"; Some people can only understand homosexuality but can't accept same-sex love, let alone be sure of their love; Some people think they can accept lesbians but not gay men, or they can accept gay men. Cannot accept lesbians; Others think that if his friend is gay, he will change his view of homosexuality, accept homosexuality, recognize homosexuality, recognize his friend, and let his friend be treated as a normal person.

6. Main methods, processes and conclusions of the study.

On the basis of data analysis and college students' survey? ,。 . . . . .

7. Investigation process and evaluation of its results

With the rapid development of modern science and medicine, people's ideas have also undergone tremendous changes and progress. More and more people are beginning to face homosexuality with tolerance and understanding, and we contemporary college students should also treat homosexuality rationally. We should not blindly discriminate against or exclude this group. Homosexuality is a complex social phenomenon. Many people don't understand this secret and the world, which leads to misunderstanding and even hatred. This is normal.

Eliminating public discrimination against homosexuality mainly depends on universal education, which requires both emotional care and rational judgment.

In a word, homosexuality is a complex social problem of human beings, and the controversy caused by it is produced with the opening of society. Homosexuality cannot be accurately defined from individual rights, social ethics, psychology or natural law. As college students in the 2 1 century, we should face homosexuality with a tolerant attitude, and at the same time adjust our psychology and mentality accurately to make our life develop healthily.

Three. Concluding remarks

Through this survey of college students' views on homosexuality, we can see that most college students have an understanding attitude towards homosexuality. During the investigation, we seldom see comments attacking homosexuality. Many students mentioned that they may not advocate homosexuality, because it is related to the issue of racial continuity after all, but homosexuals who really exist in our society and have real feelings should not be blamed. For these people who live on the edge of society, we should also give them respect and care.

In fact, most college students in our school only have a general understanding of homosexuality, which is only one-sided content, but students are not biased against homosexuality, which makes us feel that the overall direction of students is good;

There are significant differences in the cognition of homosexuality among college students of different sexes and grades;

In attitude, there is no need to interfere with other people's lifestyles, and there will be significant differences in attitudes towards accepting friends as homosexuals and accepting family members as homosexuals. Will accept friends more than family.

Among the reasons for not accepting homosexuality, there may be social discrimination caused by traditional ideas and family factors.

College students' understanding of homosexuality is still lacking, so it is necessary to further carry out sexual health education. Basically, the attitude towards homosexuality is more tolerant.

Four. postscript

And through this survey and data analysis, we give the following suggestions:

1. Strengthen sexual health education for college students and broaden their horizons; Improve college students' ability to analyze problems, learn to think independently and learn to look at problems comprehensively.

2. There is a proper amount of publicity about the form and life of homosexuality, and the state should grasp this degree.

3. Improve relevant legal treaties.

4. Schools can offer relevant courses or invite professional lecturers to give lectures and provide correct comments and statements.

Findings and shortcomings of this survey:

This survey is not well prepared, so there are many shortcomings:

First of all, as far as the number of people surveyed is concerned, the total number is *** 150. This number still can't reflect the views of most college students on homosexuality, so this survey can only be said to be a survey of some college students' attitudes and behavioral tendencies towards homosexuality; Secondly, a considerable number of questionnaires were sent to our own colleges, so a considerable number of respondents were female students.

Of course, in this interview, we also learned a lot, mainly mastering the application of new research methods. After studying, we also found the fun of group cooperation. Everyone said it was fun, then put it into action, and finally summed up the relevant conclusions together.
