1. Enrollment Major and Number of Students: Please refer to Northwest University's 2023 Doctoral Admissions Major Catalogue for information on doctoral majors, enrollment numbers and instructors to be enrolled in our school in 2023. The admission proportion of direct doctoral programs, graduate programs and "application-assessment system" shall be arranged by each department according to the application situation. In principle, the enrollment ratio of on-the-job orientation candidates shall not exceed 20% of the number of students to be enrolled, the enrollment ratio of direct doctoral students shall not exceed 20% of the number of students to be enrolled, and the enrollment ratio of "application-assessment system" shall not be less than 20% of the number of students to be enrolled.
Second, "Direct Bo" enrollment: According to the relevant regulations of postgraduate enrollment of the Ministry of Education, our school accepts outstanding undergraduate students from all over the country as direct Bo students by recommending exemption from exams. For details, please refer to the Articles of Association of Northwest University in 2023 for accepting and recommending graduate students (including direct doctoral students).
Three. Enrollment of "Master's and Doctor's Continuing Education": The enrollment target of "Master's and Doctor's Continuing Education" is the outstanding graduate students of our school. For registration and related requirements, please refer to the Notice of Northwest University on the Selection of Postgraduates for Continuing Education for Masters and Doctorates in 2023.
4. Physical examination: All admitted freshmen must have a physical examination, and those who fail the physical examination will be disqualified. Freshmen will have a unified physical examination when they enter school, and the specific time will be notified separately.
5. Academic system and years of study: The basic academic system for doctoral students is 3 years, including mathematics, statistics, ecology, China history, world history, science and technology history, chemical engineering and technology for 4 years;
The academic system of postgraduate doctoral degree is: the first year of master's degree is 4 years or 5 years, that is, the basic academic system+1 year; The choice of the second and third years of master's degree: 3 or 4 years, that is, the basic academic system. Undergraduate students directly pursue doctoral degrees, and the postgraduate education system is generally 5 years; The cumulative study period of all kinds of doctoral students is up to seven years (including suspension).
