The title of the album and the title song "Farewell to Cambridge" come from a famous sentence by China poet Xu Zhimo. John Ratt, a famous British composer, wrote a new tune for this poem. In addition, the Choir of King's College perfectly interpreted18th century China folk song "Jasmine" adapted by Steven Cleobury, the chief conductor of the Choir, with accurate Chinese pronunciation.
