Introduction: China Youshi University is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, a national "2 1 1 Project" key university, and one of 56 universities with graduate schools, which is supported by the state to build an "innovation platform for superior disciplines". China Youshi University (East China) is an ordinary institution of higher learning jointly established by the Ministry of Education, four major petroleum and petrochemical enterprise groups (China Petroleum and Natural Gas Group, China Petrochemical Group, China Offshore Oil Corporation and China Sinochem Group), the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government. The school was founded in 1953, then called Beijing Petroleum Institute. /kloc-moved to Shandong in 0/969 and changed its name to East China Petroleum Institute. From 65438 to 0988, the school was renamed Petroleum University, gradually forming a pattern of running schools in Shandong and Beijing. In June 2005, the school was renamed China Youshi University.
