In recent years, the clinical and basic research of vascularized fibula transplantation in the treatment of avascular necrosis of femoral head has attracted much attention. At present, nearly 900 cases have been operated. After 2-8 years of follow-up, 85% of the patients have achieved excellent results, and the research results have won the second prize of Shanghai medical science and technology, the third prize of China Medical Award and the third prize of Shanghai scientific and technological progress. 1999 was selected into the training plan of 100 outstanding interdisciplinary leaders in Shanghai health system, the leading medical talents plan in Shanghai in 2006 and the leading medical talents plan in Shanghai in 2008.
