Introduction: Insurance Vocational College is the only full-time public institution of higher learning engaged in insurance education approved by the Ministry of Education and Hunan Provincial People's Government and transformed from China Insurance Management Cadre College (founded in 1986). China Life Insurance (Group) Company and China Reinsurance (Group) Company are in charge, and the education business is managed by Hunan Provincial Education Department. The college is located in Tianxin District, Changsha City, adjacent to the new site of Hunan Provincial Government. Our college has the largest collection of insurance books among universities in China. Changsha, with complete teaching and living facilities and elegant campus environment, is a "garden-style unit" and a "provincial garden-style unit". The college has a strong faculty, including full professors 1 1 and more than 70 associate professors. Among the full-time teachers, 72.4% have a postgraduate degree. Since its establishment, the Institute has made remarkable achievements in scientific research, presided over nearly 20 national and provincial scientific research projects, and participated in the compilation and evaluation of national key bibliographies such as Insurance History of China and Insurance Knowledge Reader. Journal of China Insurance Management Cadre College is a national core journal of social science. The college integrates academic education, on-the-job training and qualification examination. Among them, adult higher education has two forms: full-time and correspondence, and there are two levels of junior college. General higher education has 18 college majors. In 2003, he co-organized an insurance postgraduate course with Hunan University. In recent years, the initial employment rate of graduates is above 90%, and nearly 1,000 graduates have taken the leadership positions in provincial or local branches of the commercial insurance system, of which more than 30 have taken the leadership positions in provincial insurance institutions.
