1955 At the beginning of this year, Northeastern University held the first scientific report meeting; In the same year, a student science report meeting was held and a student science and technology association was elected.
In order to continuously improve the quality of personnel training and establish and improve the personnel training system of high-level research universities, the "Northeastern University Student Innovation Center" was established in September 2007.
In order to further ensure the smooth completion of students' innovation work and promote the vigorous development of campus students' scientific and technological activities, in March 2008, the Student Innovation Center completed the planning and establishment of the Inventors Association, a student organization directly under the Student Innovation Center.
In order to give full play to the positive role of student associations in the school's scientific and technological innovation activities, from June 5, 2008 to February 2008, the "College Students' Science and Technology Association" was actively organized to create an organizational system with college students' associations as the main body and science and technology associations as the support.
