Peking University, a senior professor and famous jurist, is a pioneer. He and Shen are called "two masters in the history of calligraphy in Peking University" and "Monument". He was the first president of Peking University Yanyuan Calligraphy and Painting Association, the director of China Calligraphers Association, the deputy director of the Art Committee of China Calligraphers Association, the first vice chairman of Beijing Calligraphers Association and the director of the judging committee. He studied in Wuchang Art College in his early years and taught in Peking University all the year round. Proficient in English, French, German and Russian foreign languages, his Wild Grass filled the gap in the history of wild grass in China in the 20th century. He is the author of "The Book Theory of Sanchuntang" and "On Grass". Mr. Qi Gong commented: "Mr. Li Zhimin's exploration of attracting monuments into the grass represents the direction of China's calligraphy."
