1. Zhongshan University of Science and Technology is located in the eastern coastal area of Cuiheng New District, Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province. It is the center of two concentric circles of Nansha, Qianhai, Hengqin 1 E National New District and Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Hong Kong and Macao, and it is also the bridgehead of the Shenzhen-China Passage.

2. Zhongshan College of University of Electronic Science and Technology of China is a private full-time independent college for ordinary undergraduates jointly organized by Zhongshan Municipal People's Government and University of Electronic Science and Technology of China. It is a university jointly established by the Guangdong Provincial Department of Education and the Zhongshan Municipal People's Government. It is the first batch of pilot universities for transformation of ordinary undergraduate courses in Guangdong Province. The provincial higher education has seized the shortcomings and strengthened its characteristics.
