Yi Zhongtian was not called an old thief. Yi Zhongtian, 1947 was born in Changsha, Hunan Province, 198 1 graduated from the Chinese Department of Wuhan University with a master's degree in literature and stayed as a teacher. He is currently a professor in the Chinese Department of the School of Humanities, Xiamen University, and has long been engaged in interdisciplinary research in literature, art, aesthetics, psychology, anthropology and history. He is the author of Aesthetic Thought of Wen Xin Diao Long.
