Nanjing Campus of National University of Defense Technology and National University of Defense Technology are teachers with high teaching level and good campus environment. It is also a book like National University of Defense Technology, but the campuses are different and the majors set up belong to different colleges. Nanjing Campus has established the Institute of Meteorology and Oceanography, which specializes in meteorology, oceanography and information.

The headquarters of National University of Defense Technology is located in Changsha, Hunan Province, and its internal colleges or branches are located in Nanjing, Wuhan and Hefei. The school currently has nearly 200 academicians of the two academies, candidates for the "Ten Thousand Talents Program", Changjiang scholars, winners of the National Science Fund for Distinguished Young Scholars, candidates for the national 100 million talents project, and national famous teachers in teaching.
