The Painting Academy of Renmin University of China hired Feng Qiyong, a master of Chinese studies and president of China Red Society, Sun Qifeng, a famous painter and art educator, as honorary dean, Li Baolin, deputy director of the Art Committee of China Artists Association and vice president of the National Painting Academy of China, as dean, Xiang Li, dean of the Training College of China Renmin University, as executive dean, and established functional departments such as Art Committee, Academic Committee, Training Department, Theory Department, Creative Research Department and Planning and Communication Department, which are responsible for teaching and training, theoretical research and artistic creation respectively.
