The main research field is higher education evaluation and educational empirical research methods. In recent years, he has presided over and participated in more than 10 projects entrusted by the Ministry of Education, the National Social Science Fund, the Education Department Fund, the Yunnan Provincial Political Consultative Conference, the United Front Work Department of the Provincial Party Committee, the China Higher Education Society, Yunnan University and the Education Department. He presided over the formulation of evaluation schemes for provincial universities such as Teaching Evaluation of Independent Colleges in Yunnan Province and Certification and Optimization Evaluation of Professional Standards of Colleges and Universities in Yunnan Province. He is the author of the monograph "Evaluation Methods of Educational Projects —— Evaluation Research from Micro-perspective" and participated in four books, including "Harmony without Difference —— Research on Higher Education Needs of 25 Minority College Students in Yunnan". He has published more than 30 papers in national Chinese core journals, CSSCI journals and other educational journals.
