1. Students in senior high school classes can only apply for Xinjiang normal universities and medical colleges. Students in Grade One of Senior High School can't apply for military schools, but they can apply for police schools.

2. The five universities are: China University of Political Science and Law (formerly Beijing University of Political Science and Law), Southwest University of Political Science and Law (formerly Southwest University of Political Science and Law), northwest university of politics and law (formerly northwest university of politics and law) and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law (formerly Zhongnan University of Political Science and Law); East China University of Political Science and Law (formerly East China University of Political Science and Law).

3. Four departments: Peking University Law Department, Renmin University of China Law Department, Jilin University Law Department and Wuhan University Law Department. These law departments have now developed into law schools and become the signature colleges of their universities, corresponding to Peking University Law School, Renmin University of China Law School, Jilin University Law School and Wuhan University Law School respectively.
