The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China (hereinafter referred to as the University of Electronic Science and Technology of China) is a national key university directly under the Ministry of Education, and it is a national "double first-class", "985 Project" and "2 1 1 Project" construction university. The University of Electronic Science and Technology of China, formerly known as Chengdu Institute of Telecommunications Engineering, was established in September. 1956. It is the first radio university in new China, which is formed by the merger of the telecommunication engineering department of Jiaotong University (now Shanghai Jiaotong University and Xi Jiaotong University), the telecommunication department of South China University of Technology (now South China University of Technology) and the radio department of Nanjing University of Science and Technology (now Southeast University). 1988 was renamed University of Electronic Science and Technology of China.
