What do you think of college students now?
The concept of college students can be understood from both broad and narrow perspectives. In a broad sense, college students refer to a special group in society, who have received higher education and have new social technologies and cutting-edge ideas, and also refer to a pioneer group that leads social progress. In a narrow sense, college students refer to senior professionals with college education or above and trained by the state. Let me talk about my narrow understanding of college students from my experience. First of all, when it comes to the definition of college students, we must first understand the definition of university: there is an ancient book "History of Rites and Music": "The ancient kings took education as their main task, set up universities to teach the country, and set urgent orders to turn the city." This means that the ancient emperors ruled the country with education as their priority. Establishing universities in rural areas and schools in cities and towns for education, inducing people with benevolence, encouraging people with righteousness and restricting people with courtesy, the implementation of education has brought good customs and people's feelings. Since ancient times, schools have been places to impart knowledge and train talents, and universities have been places to train generations of professionals, so college students have also taken on more responsibilities. College students have played a great role in social progress, cultural communication, scientific and technological development and humanistic inheritance. First, college students have strong learning ability and know how to study hard. However, college is different from junior high school. Universities need students to have strong self-control and autonomous learning ability. Basic learning in junior high schools is generally passive, while college students need to take the initiative to learn knowledge. Moreover, the contents they study are very professional, and the majors they apply for in universities should be their own, so they will be full of desire for their professional knowledge, and will not feel that learning is a boring thing, and accordingly they will be more willing to take the initiative.
