Luojiashan, formerly known as Luojiashan, is also known as Luoshan. The current name of Luojiashan was changed by Mr. Wen Yiduo, the first dean of the College of Literature of Wuhan University. Luojiashan is located in the eastern suburb of Wuchang, Hubei Province, with towering mountains, which complement the water color of East Lake and become a group of scenic spots.
Wuhan University, one of the "most beautiful universities in China", is located on the west side of Luojia Mountain, with rich buildings. There are waves and stones in the lake near the mountain. There are also revolutionary memorial buildings such as the June 1 Memorial Pavilion and the Tomb of the June 1 Martyrs, as well as sports facilities such as navigation clubs and swimming pools. Sakura Road of Wuhan University is located under the Institute of Principles and the old library. The cherry trees on both sides of the road are thick and neatly arranged. Every year from March to early April, the flowers are full of branches. Cherry blossoms bloom for only one week. Every time the flowers fall, colorful cherry blossoms lay a shallow "carpet" on the ground. Every year in the flower season, there is an endless stream of tourists enjoying flowers.
