The main campus is located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province. The school was founded in 1958, formerly known as Jiangxi Institute of Metallurgy. 1988 was renamed Southern Institute of Metallurgy, and in 2004 it was renamed Jiangxi University of Science and Technology.

5. Gannan Normal University College of Science and Technology:

Located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, it was approved by Jiangxi Provincial Department of Education and Jiangxi Provincial Development Planning Commission in 2003 and confirmed by the Ministry of Education. It is a full-time independent undergraduate course college founded by Gannan Normal University. 20 16 was confirmed by the Ministry of Education, and was renamed from the former Science and Technology College of Gannan Normal University to the Science and Technology College of Gannan Normal University.
